Direct-buried Prefabricated Insulated Elbow
The prefabricated direct-buried insulated elbow is a type of insulated pipe fitting. The insulated elbow is composed of a high-density polyethylene outer casing, a polyurethane foam insulation layer, and an inner working steel pipe tightly bonded together.
The insulated elbow is mainly used for changing the direction of insulated straight pipes and is generally used in conjunction with insulated pipelines. It is designed to compensate during insulation engineering pipeline design, ensuring that the elbow section also has sufficient insulation performance. Standard elbow angles for prefabricated direct-buried insulated elbows are 30 degrees, 45 degrees, 60 degrees, and 90 degrees.
The prefabricated direct-buried insulated elbow uses polyurethane foam insulation technology. Polyurethane foam has good mechanical properties and thermal insulation performance, typically withstanding temperatures up to 120°C. Through modification or combination with other insulating materials, it can withstand temperatures up to 180°C.
