Basic Classification of the Pipeline Industry
  1. Classified by material
    • Metal pipelines Including steel pipes (such as carbon steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, galvanized pipes), copper pipes, cast iron pipes, etc., characterized by high strength and high temperature resistance, widely used in petroleum, natural gas, chemical and other fields.
    • Non-metal pipelines Including plastic pipes (PVC, PE, PPR, etc.), composite pipes (steel-plastic composite pipes, fiberglass pipes), rubber pipes, cement pipes, etc., with advantages of corrosion resistance, light weight, and easy installation, mainly used in municipal water supply, agricultural irrigation, and other scenarios.
  2. Classified by design pressure
    • Vacuum pipelines, low-pressure pipelines, high-pressure pipelines, ultra-high-pressure pipelines, with pressure levels divided to meet different medium transportation needs.
  3. Classified by transport temperature
    • Low-temperature pipelines, normal-temperature pipelines, medium-temperature pipelines, high-temperature pipelines, suitable for extreme temperature environments ranging from -196°C (liquid nitrogen) to 600°C (steam).
  4. Classified by transported medium
    • Including water supply and drainage pipelines, gas pipelines, thermal pipelines, oil and gas pipelines, chemical pipelines, refrigeration pipelines, etc., covering the entire energy, municipal, and industrial chains in detailed fields.

The Versatility and Applications of Coated Welded Steel Pipe in Industrial Settings

Coated welded steel pipes are an essential component in various industrial applications, providing a robust solution for transporting fluids and gases in challenging environments. These pipes are made by welding together steel sections and then applying a protective coating to enhance their longevity and performance. The primary advantage of coated welded steel pipes lies in their durability. The
