Large-diameter 3PE anti-corrosion spiral steel pipes are mainly used for external anti-corrosion of underground or underwater steel oil, gas, water supply, and heating pipelines. Anti-corrosion structure of large-diameter 3PE anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe:
One layer of epoxy powder (FBE > 100um), second layer of adhesive (AD) 170–250um, third layer of polyethylene (PE) 2.5–3.7mm. The three materials are integrated and firmly bonded with the steel pipe to form an excellent anti-corrosion layer. Pipe diameter range Φ60–Φ1420.

The bare pipe undergoes shot blasting and rust removal by medium-frequency heating. After rust removal inspection, it is heated again to a certain temperature for spraying operations: first powder spraying, then adhesive spraying, followed by polyethylene spraying. Strict inspection for coating defects is conducted.
